Hanging the material is easy if done right. A non-painted smooth surface is best for application. 3/4″ MDF or finished plywood with biscuits to keep the sheets flush, glued to an existing wall makes a perfect substrate.
This example wall was painted (by mistake) and sanded to make it smooth. Dust had been removed, and the surface dampened with water to aid the application.
Temperature variations will cause the material to expand and contract. The material must be applied and allowed to set at least 24 hours at room temperature. Otherwise bubbles may appear that must be rolled out.
